Alot of 70's acts used music videos in the 80's to jump-start their careers. Successful for some, not so for others in the early 80's. David Bowie was like a natural with it. This song was played on album rock stations back then.

it sounds a little like 'sleeping with the television on' by billy Joel with the drum pattern. 'sleeping with the television on' has that same pattern on the drums in the intro.

I'm trying to find some symbolism in this video (standing on a pile of cars, the bikers), but I'm at a loss. This is bizarre.

I think this is one of his better songs. It's more rock n roll, more of a "Saturday's Night Alright For Fighting" feel to it.
