I saw him in concert when this was his latest album. I've been to over 100 concerts and that one stands out as one of the best. Love the New Orleans rhythm of this song.
I felt the musical versions of the songs in Rocket Man were sort of Glee ish . I wish the rockin aspect of his music was better portrayed. I saw Elton 1972 my first concert with my parents 10 years old and it rocked a la Davey Johstone and the band. The movie was about his relationships but the band was left out. I still liked it but the music was waterd down imho.

Really dating myself here, but I always got a kick out of the skit that Tim Conway did where he played Elton John, during the "goofy glasses" period of his life. I'm 59 so I'm not sure anyone else will remember it.
