Awesome song. Yeah, sure she can sing, but calling her voice "gorgeous" is pretty subjective. She hits C5 on her chorus melisma, and she isn't gonna break the guinness world record in high pitch. She probably has the capability of reaching low, really low, but her songs rarely show off her low register (which is a shame) As regards force, there are singers out there belting way louder. Speaking of tonal quality, that is where taste comes in. :-)

Vocal range doesn't have any correlation to how good one's singing sounds. Good job writing all that and only end up looking like a prick.

I'm a bigger fan of Sophie EB than I am Adele but I think your comment is unfair. Adele is incredibly talented and has brushed aside many fabricated acts; she sings from the heart and is self styled. That gets a lot of respect from me.

wish she would promo more here in the U.S. and make more of her albums and single available in the U.S. as well. she's alright. i liked "Heartbreak Make Me a Dancer" in 2009 & i still like "Mixed Up World", & LOVE-LOVE "Not Giving Up On Love" but i don't like what she said about Kylie not being a "Real Person". Kylie is a "Brand", obviously, but she is real & battled fuckin breast cancer! Sophie's alright & i'd so buy more of her music if she released it here :)

Well I am not very happy that this is making only C list playlist on BBC Radio 2. It is a fantastic song. I just hope in time it will be moved to the A list and get lot of airplay. That would really help the sales, this song stands every chance to be a huge hit.
