It's really tough to nail his pattern because he loosely alternates between a precise pattern and sweeping flicks that are like a hybrid pick/strum with his fingertips.

I haven't figured out...but I am not holding my breath....

The chord structure is not that complicated... the speedy little riffs are another story. Very hard to play with fluidity.

elliott's music is soul food. He would not boss anyone into his spiritual position, that wasn't his way. He was trying to lead us to an understanding of spirit by signposting his journey with music. He could have been a bit more explicit about this IMO.

He might have figured it out had he not cut his life so short. He knew himself better than anyone else though. It's his honesty that really gets to me. Elliott is the largest inspiration to my music, try to write new songs every day and upload as many as I can to my channel.
