I'm a volunteer firefighter and so is my husband. I want to cry everytime I watch this video because all of us in the fire service know it could all be over in a moment.

I love this song. I have loved it since I was 4 and 7 years later I still listen to it every morning before I go to the bus stop. I am sooo thankful for all those fire fighters out there and I pray like nothin like this happens to them. but what my dad always says " well sweetheart, we all hate to fall down, but it happens to all of us, and when it happens you just get back up and act like nothing happened" thank fire fighters and 911 responders!!!!!!!!!!

As a former volunteer firefighter i love this song.

As a volunteer, this video shows the hardships and dangers of this job. Walking up on that roof, not knowing if your next step is the one where the roof gives way. Being trapped in a room, and having it flash. getting caught in a backdraft. There are many dangers to this job. Many of which civilians don't understand. This video shows that. This video shows what happens to our families when it does happen. This is our life. This is what we live for

As a firefighter and a female firefighter at that this is still heartbreaking in so many ways. Just watching it has me in tears. Its is so close to the truth.

I can barely make it through this video. I first saw it live at one of their concerts and it turned me into a bawling baby in front of everyone. God bless.

To any one who reads these who's a firefighter or dating one stay safe. Stay strong it's a hell of a brother/sister hood no matter what state. If your a truckie or an engine guy we all bleed red and hit a point when we break down I've had my moment recently once again stay safe stay strong no matter what. Put on a brace face for the families and the kids. This is the biggest family in the world. Much love to all my fellow first responders.
