Crazy Girl got me loving Eli Young Band and I still love them.

I like it but it's not country.

I'm loving the sound on these new tracks. Loved 10000 Towns too. These songs are sexy and make me want to listen to more EYB. I know they are a lot of "sell out" things being said...but I believe if you want to stay in the game, stay relevant AND make a living...then adapt. EYB can still make county like everyone insists they go back to....but this way they are reaching a larger audience with the pseudo pop country followers listening in too.

this is sooooo sad to listen to.... I really hope the EYB is being forced to play these new songs... This just didn't sound like them at all... Common guys drop whatever label is making you do this cuz you can make it on your own writing your own songs. because you guys writing your own songs on 10000 Towns is 10000 times better than this.. let's take a turn back on the dirt road boys and get off the mainstream if that's what's trying to go on here

I think it's good and catchy it's still Country with a twist and its still better than that rap crap

 IT'S NOT ABOUT SELLING OUT---IT'S ABOUT A BAND REACHING THEIR GREATEST SUCCESS, GIVING THE MOST JOY TO THE MOST PEOPLE  AND STILL BEING THEMSELVES. Those who try to insist on a band not growing and reaching a larger audience are selfish.  They need to grow up

@Kellen Dobmeier why just pick on Eli Young Band?---Can't you see the whole country genre is evolving and mixing with a pop sound.  Why don't you just be thankful it is not rap or hip hop, with an angry tone talking about pimps, hos, and hating cops.  You are not the only music fan

There's a major difference between natural evolution and stealing instrumental arrangements from other genres and labeling it country. You can't just layer a banjo over something and call it country. You can't just add a steel lick here and there and call it country. You can't just take a country artist, have them record songs that fit into other genres, and call it country.

@Kellen Dobmeier I'm not sure they will lose a lot of fans. To the contrary, I think they'll be building their fan base. While some think this is selling out....I view it as more of an adaption to what people are wanting to hear. EYB - they're making some sexy songs that are gathering speed. Pat Green did the same thing back in the day. Garth did it too or he wouldn't be where he is. You don't  have to listen to it if you don't like it.

relax --- let the band express themselves, you can always go listen to rap-----UGH.  I like this song, it has originality

What happened to the good ol' country music? they've officially enteted the pop/rock semi country world. Eli young band was amazing when they wrote their own stuff. :-(
