I was in an abusive relationship. He was abusive verbally, emotionally. Mentally i was a mess. He made me feel not good enough, not beautiful enough. It got to a point I couldn't even look at myself in the mirror, I thought something was wrong with me. Because I loved him so much and wanted the same love back, I did so much for him, I even tried to change myself, the way I looked. I did things i would regret just to prove my love for him. He left me through my pregnancy, I gave birth to our son alone but God was with me through labor and our son was born. I forgave him and still tried to make things work for our son. He's never done anything for him, no toys, barely comes to see him. After many years of trying to win his love I finally found the strength to say enough. All I need is jesus. Jesus loves me and that's all I need. I'm good enough for God and that's all that matters. I don't have to chase, and fight for anybody's acceptance and love. I'm too valuable and precious for God to be treated badly. I'm broken hearted from all the pain he made me go through but God is healing me and I will get back on my feet.

I first heard this in an EGR way back 2017 and I still got goosebumps when I hear it..

This song is wonderful, and I must admit that this song is, for the most part, theologically correct. However, it is the small line that implies God's "robbing" of the grave that is incorrect. In fact, it would even be wrong to say that God defeated the grave. You see, it was His plan from the beginning of time to send Jesus, His Son, to Earth as a man to die for our sins and resurrect. Therefore, if it was already previously planned, he cannot defeat the death he had planned... just rise from it. And the much more extreme implication of a robbery taking place would not only imply that God has committed some kind of sin, but also that he did not own the plan of the grave from the beginning, which, whether intentional or not, takes power away from Christ. Therefore, if sung in a church that values the gospel and theology in its entirety, should be rephrased as "Our God rose from the grave". Simple, factual, and not theologically problematic. I understand that this song was sung with all good intentions (I would assume), but as a Christian of only a couple of years, its lyrics could not possibly sit right with me until this was corrected.

I am uncertain of what lyes beyond life. But this song alone helps through my tough times. I actually inside my comment want to thank the soldier(Scott money) for his hard graft he served in the army keeping us safe and I am very happy that he has found a solution for his troubles!!
