Literally the first vaporwave album sampled this song.

An odd little song from 'Secret Messages'....but so hypnotic and lyric. One of those songs where back in the day you would listen on headphones by the light of your tuner and dream off to sleep...

floating and yes mesmerizing. like a trance. lyrically connects to "nellie takes a bow". such a gift for a melody. what a dreamy guy jeff lynne is. your writing is so very strange.

Stick this at 1:25 speed and it is much better. Always thought that this track was too slow but still enjoyed it.

For me, personally, the normal speed is more emotional and puts me in more of a dreamy state.
