This needs to be released as a single...would go to number 1 on country radio, then it would cross over to billboard and go top ten at least. This could propel this guy into the stratosphere. I'm a Queen fan, not into country, but this is awesome!!! If I feel this way, imagine country fans who love this song....and maybe even like Queen!!! Hit hit hit!!!!

Brett Eldridge is easily one of the best country singers out there imo, just on his voice alone. He gets extra bonus points for covering a song, sang by two of the greatest musical talents in entertainment history (Freddie mercury and elvis)

I just puked in my mouth a little. It’s already risky remaking a queen song but a country artist doing it? Nah gtfo this is awful at least the one country artist that redid it in the nineties actually made it bearable to listen to. Just stay in your lane and keep making your generic sellout country music

You act like Brett sounds like some kind of sh*t kicking, horse riding cowboy. Sure, he's in the country genre, but he sounds far more rock (or even Big Band) than he does country. No one can sing like Freddie - absolutely no one. That's a given. But that doesn't mean a great song can't be (or shouldn't be) covered. And at the end of the day, at least Brett can sing, and sing well - unlike the majority of auto-tuned pop acts. Let's also not even go into what constitutes "rock music" nowadays - at least for Freddie's sake. Can you imagine Jared Leto remaking this song, or that dude from Shinedown?

Jordan Strain Freddie wrote this song in ‘79 as a tribute. Elvis had died a few years prior. That is the magic of Queen. Their music is so classic and many songs transcend time, you can’t imagine their songs as actual originals, but it is true. They have a song for everyone. Elvis would have covered Queen, had he kept himself alive.
