Wow I hear a lot of martina mcbride in her voice. This is amazing I was watching pure country 2 and heard her sing so I had to look her up.

Troy Parrett I had the same reaction. I just finished watching the movie Pure Country 2 and was floored by the amazing voice. I could not wait to see the ending credits to find out who was singing. It sounded at times like Martina McBride and I was floored when I saw Katrina Elam as the singer. I had never heard of her and can’t believe why not. Is she new to the music scene? Unbelievable how she is not the hottest singer out there right now.

A great talent that was done in by her record label. So unfair to her and millions that could have enjoyed her music. Be careful before you make a deal with the devil!

I don't get it. She has a better voice with more range than Carrie Underwood, she has the look, and writes her own music. Oh, by the way, she also can act. What is the problem? She should have a great career going on now. Those high notes and her upper register are simply amazing to hear. Those notes remind me of Faith Hill or Kelly Clarkson and both have great careers. She deserves another chance.

she was on a label,but their was some legal matters and label changes and she got tied up in all the music mess. they can hold you back for years. It is happening with Pia from American Idol who was one of the best singers on the show. she got a deal, deal went bad. she has been tied up in legal matters for the past couple years or so.

It does not make sense; the girl can sing big, she’s easy on the eyes and is better than any country singer I ever heard. Yet she’s not a super star? There is something going on here, she maybe be on a black list for some reason.. Maybe she’s too good to independent for some country fat cat money swill maker. I met her in Macon, GA YEARS ago when she opened for Keith Urban and she was so incredibly sweet. I have been a fan of hers since and wish she would make more music. This song in particular is one of my favorites. I like "I want a cowboy" too. :)
