I know that’s a long comment, but I would be very pleased if you would take the time to read it...

I’m probably what you all here would call a „new fan“. But I think what matters is that I’m a true one. Yes, Bad Guy was the reason why I noticed her, but it’s definitely not the reason why I love her. I feel so sorry that I hadn’t spotted her earlier so I’m just trying to catch up everything I missed until now.
I feel like it the last two months or sth I have listened to all of her songs, new ones as well as older ones, as well as covers, as well as unreleased songs and it’s always so special for me when I find one I haven’t seen so far.
Over time I learned more and more about her and was more and more impressed and without really realizing it she became more and more important to me. There’s no day without listening to her songs or watching interviews with her and I would never have thought that a human I don’t know personally could be so important for me.
Now I can finally say without any guilty conscience that I am a real fan, which I think I’ve never been of anyone before.
I’m sure you “old” fans can understand me cause she has done the same magic thing with you, just a few years earlier. I hope you accept me as a real fan, even if I’m new. I love Billie🤍

I saw someone saying that new Billie Eilish fans are not real fans. I am new in this Billie Eilish world but I have actually got to know her and have loved ALL of her songs. I'm too young so when she started her career I didn't even have a phone. But then I got one and one year ago I started listening to her music, once in a while in the beginning and now almost every day. So even though I'm a new fan, why wouldn't I call myself a real one? I don't get it.

This song brings back so many memories... I used to listen to it 24/7 weeks before my 15th birthday party. It was a small party with just family and friends. Before the party I had a great feeling, I felt like something good was going to happen. That night a guy asked me to dance with him and at first I was startled. I thought he was confusing me, thinking he may have asked a different girl(I am so insecure) but he asked me. Since none of my friends wanted to dance, I chose to tell him no and I regetted that. I couldn't forget him and his smile as he would talk to me. So I managed to get his number from a friend we both new, I dmed him and I found out he had a crush on me. We started talking and its just been great. We've had out ups and downs but I hope this 2020 we will stay together and keep fighting for one another. This song just reminds me of that one night when I came back home after the party. It's such an amazing memory
