Eels - The Deconstruction Lyrics

I have always enjoyed eels songs...so an amazing surprise to see it his record on the play list on a flight from Australia to Thailand one Friday evening this past Feb/2019.... sun set over the Indian Ocean and I find this ...possibly best eels songs ever ....blew my freakn mind !!

When I was around 6 years old my pop gave me an mp3 player with a lot of different albums on it including "Meet the Eels" and "Daisies of the Galaxy" and since then I've been obsessed with E's style.
I'm so happy to see him making music still, this song gives me the chills every time i listen to it.

There is no single universe in the multiverse in which this album isn't good

its like a plasma

God this song really reminds me of the more psychedelic Beatles songs like Strawberry Fields Forever or The Fool on the Hill.

All you need to begin the deconstruction quickly is a good hit of LSD or Shrooms

This song keeps me alive. Feeling less alone. Thank you for that.

The general vibe of this track, and then the punchiness of how the refrains come in.. Perferct blend of electro shock blues and newer eels.. I really love this. I didn't love the last folky effort, not to say i don't like E doing folk, but i'm loving this.

I don't know why, but this very much reminds me of Albarn's song Everyday Robots (probably because of violin melody and similar atmosphere). Great song, can't wait for the upcoming album. Rock on, Mr. E! Peace & love.
