Really! Its been since 2012.
Getting famous has to suck in ways. No more of the just being a face in the crowd. Maybe that's why we hear of just the rare appearances across Canada. Her last album ratings was her best. Peaked at #2 on the Canadian charts. Hope she's not worried about trying to top that. Or worse yet, a new album that sucks.

You gotta get a pretty good running go at it to get those eating utensils properly jammed in.  Would like to have seen (as long as we're getting really goofy with this) about a five-foot long missile sticking out of her at the end.

But a decent showcase I guess for her great legs and thighs.  Yeah, her flesh is just luscious from head to toe.  Much lust.

This song...unfortunately, totally forgettable.  So we'll just forget this one and concentrate on the wonderful tunes she's written and performed.

Fail!!! This is not funny. Way too violent even if in jest. Running gags like this get boring after the second knife is thrown.

I've listened to this song with my eyes closed over and over....then I just had to go and watch this video.....yikes. Why did I do that?

I think this video/song is about being stabbed in the back and being hurt by people who you think you know but are actually "chameleons" changing to whatever is around them. And also about people who think it's funny to hurt people.. so by the literal stabbed and graphic depiction of the lyrics I think this is a perfect video for the meaning I take from the song?? Anyone else see/hear what I do?

Read reviews of this album and all of them say the same thing.....it's the album of her break up with Colin Crisp. Everyone plays a chameleon in life to some degree. Getting that person to drop the defense is I believe impossible in life nowadays.

This all being said, I'm guessing she tried to crack his defenses to make the relationship work. Notice in the video that after every injury she endures, she gives that smile that to me says " what the fuck? Are we still doing this?"

I've sent this video to friends and most don't get it. But then people I know hated the last episode of Quantum Leap, so what do they really know?

On a brighter note, I liked the kids and Kitty all dancing. I think that's her way of saying "I'm still happy"

I've only discovered her music in the past year or so, even though I heard Back to me when it was released. Her music is like water in a desert.....you finally find water and drink it all up, then it's back to a void.

If she never releases another album I'll consider myself lucky.

So... a few hundred metal heads and emo kids, who don't care about her music, are gonna pass this vid around and snicker amongst themselves.. while 99% of her actual fan base are left going "uh.... wtf? O.o". I'd like to say this is the epitome of what "indie" music is all about; self expression, but this goes so far as to suggest that she doesn't even care about her career. Maybe she's like "I had Bon Iver... but I lost him. Fuck everything. I'm living on whims now."
