I thought that the Kitty Kallen version was the one used in the movie.

Wow. This is a far superior mix to the Vevo entry on the Harry James post. I'm listening thru a phone so I can't answer for bottom, highs, nor mid clarity. On the other hand, that Vevo post has the string section isolated and turned up so high the horn & woodwind section are fighting for attention.
Seriously, I just listened through headphones and that made it worse. The strings are at such a high frequency and so loud they literally hurt my ears.
Whoever remastered that (assuming that's what & where that damage was done) should be shot.
Just because technology allows you to accentuate something doesn't mean you should.
Anyway, thanks muchly for this upload. If not for you, it looks like (at present) all we'd have for a studio release from Harry James would have been a something from the folks that own the rights with a painfully shrill & unlistenable top end.

This makes me sad. Sad that the times of my life that were encapsulated by these movies are over. All of the actors are growing up, and the hype is over. We have lost Iron Man and Captain America. The new generation of film has began, and we will never again see superhero movies again in the same way. And they will go in the same way the spaghetti westerns of old had. We will lose it all, and the song symbolizes the end of a war, and now, the end of many's childhoods. I grow up with the actors, and we can never relive the excitement of seeing those original Avengers movies ever again. We just have to..... Move on.
