I like that this cover is mostly some studio tweaks but mostly just Ed singing.

I hate when singers try to hard to make cover their own by over or under emphasising every other syllable in the lyrics.

I genuinely cannot explain how much I love the cover of this song, and the original song itself, I first heard it with my grandfather who passed when I was six and it reminds me of him, and the time we spent together when I was younger. I love this cover because it makes you think how generations change but the lyrics touch me on a deep level. I hope someone can relate.

His lifestyle and especially the way he openly speaks about his struggles with his fame and all the hardships he has experienced adds something to the emotion of this song that I can only begin to understand and will probably never be able to express accurately.
