Echo & The Bunnymen were just the best of a crop of great bands from Liverpool/Merseyside in the 1980s, like Flock of Seagulls, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, The Icicle Works and The Teardrop Explodes.

This album while still ok was a step down for them. The first 3 albums were absolute genius .

When I leave the house in the morning, I often listen this song. It makes me instant euphoric.

I saw them about ten years ago perform Ocean Rain and others at Radio City Music Hall. Sorry, Mac's voice is gone and so was I. Saw them for Bring on the Dancing Horses or greatest hits album in 1985 or 86 and it changed my life they were that great. Without Pete, so I've seen them. Can not listen to anything after Ocean Rain and I'm at peace with that.

Talk about a band at its apex!!! This album made me love symphonic rock. Music so powerful it shook the earth and our fragile egos. Love it.
