Earth, Wind And Fire - Fair But So Uncool Lyrics
Glory seeker, fortune
hound, don't you ever,
break it on down.
Ain't you been to school
Ain't you learned the rules
The life you need is fair, fair but so uncool
Rip off artis, shootin' down.
If you dig it, you're a clown-
Can't you understand
Can't you lend a hand
Can't you be a man
Greedy joker, slidin' by, dealin' jones-ses with a high
Don'cha see it's wrong
Don'cha hear this song
Time is passin', time is gone
Meet your mirror, further on
Won't you ever yearn
Ever yearn to learn
Won't ya take ya turn
The life you lead is fair, fair
But so uncool [repeat out]

Whenever my frequency and vibrations are low EYE turn to Maurice WHITE and EWF they understand the Ancient Akebulan concept of music
sono ottimi per mettere di buon umore, vedi Brazilian Rytme 👀🎹☯
Greatest of the 70s bands and. There
Were many
Johnny Boulware agree earth wind and fire was a league on their own.
Funky & Inspirational tune by The Elements
EWF had a formula for spitting out hit after hits.
Who cares about the lyrics, just as long as you could get up and surround yourself with the music and move to the groove, that's all that mattered.
The lyrics to me are very important to me as a Black Man and descendant of slaves they gave us the 🔑 as to what and who we are and wat our GREAT ANCESTORS laid n stone as a way back home because they forsaw the future if u can't get to this u surely won't understand Mighty Mighty
No THEY are SUPREME in wisdom
I love EWF, but I can never understand their lyrics.
No offense, but their lyrics were enlightened, educated, informed. Further they were written with the purpose of increasing the listeners walk of faith.
It also may be that Maurice was born in '42, and he wrote this song in 1973-74. He was 31-32 at the time. If you were a teen during those days, you would have to reach to understand. If you werent even born, then . . . . . And if you were born and raised after the 80's, I'm not sure you will ever understand them. I understood them.
A jam! A catchy tune with a Message
@Foster Mac whats the message then ?
