Desperado was a great album. Young and hungry Eagles. You need to listen to it from beginning to end. It's the stories man.

My dad had every album by the Eagles and many other bands and would play full albums all the time when I was growing up in the 70s. The Eagles are and have always been, my favorite band. I was so fortunate to see them twice, on their History of the Eagles tour before Glenn died. They were remarkable.

Prefect harmony, hear that classic electric piano,, 48 and been listening since I was 11..But I miss Glenn tragic loss to the rock world.

Could be the heaviest Eagle's song?

People forget this was released as a single, not "Desperado". I think it's one of their best "forgotten" songs and sums up the whole album concept.

Hotel California was the most successful album, but Desperado was their best, IMO. You feel like you're in a western movie.

From the Desperado LP. I saw The Eagles in May 2003 at the Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, SC. However, they didn't perform this.

My uncle passed away a few years ago. And this is the main song that reminds me of him. He thought this song was so badass. He would sit down and play the drums to it sometimes. I remember a time when my father was doing karaoke and picked this song to sing in front of everyone. He started getting emotional and stopped the song, so I got up with him and finished it with him. I guess Outlaw Man means a lot to us. Thanks, Eagles.

It's sad that we lost Glenn Frey today at the age of 67. The Eagles' harmonies will never sound the same without him. This is one of the best cuts off of the Desperado album. It just takes me back to the days of the California sound. Glenn Frey's musical legacy will never be forgotten. Rest In Peace.
