Dylan, Bob - Corrina, Corrina Lyrics
Corrina, Corrina
Gal, where you been so long?
Corrina, Corrina
Gal where you been so long?
I been worr'in' about you, baby
I got a bird that whistles
I got a bird that sings
I got a bird that whistles
I got a bird that sings
But I ain't a-got Corrina
Life don't mean a thing
Corrina, Corrina
Gal, you're on my mind
Gal, you're on my mind
I was sittin' down thinking of you
I just can't keep from crying

Dylan was the 60's. The Vietnam war was raging and in the background was Bob Dylan with his music taking everyone over. This is one of my favorite songs and the album cover is simply the best. My brother had a VW bus just like the one in the picture. Life was different back then - Blowin in the Wind was almost a theme song. And what a time we all had.
It was a groovy, magical time.
They were smokin' them dirty commie bastards like there was no tomorrow.
Beautiful track.

I think Robert plant sang that:
"I got a bird that whistles and I got a bird that sings"
I don't know what to say
So did the Beatles
Both influenced by American blues. Those lines are old bluesy lyrics from way back obscure artists.
Mais qui sont ces 11 trouducs ???
one of my top 5 dylan songs, the vibe is so right.
Wow never heard this version. I love the harmonic and bluesy tone to it. Great vibes 👏🏻✌🏼🙌🎶🎶
babe please come home ... ;-)
Thanks Bob!

doesn;t get better than that
One of few great Dylan " songs" he did not write.
most of them on the 1st album no?
Doesn't get much better
I lived for a long time in a little tourist town that was modeled after towns in the German alps. Every once in a while you would meet a real German who also lived there, besides just plastic tourist bullshit- beer & sauerkraut & dirndls & lederhosen- and I even worked for a German family in a restaurant and with German cooks in the kitchens. Once I was applying for jobs and making the rounds to all the businesses, and one hotel had a lady with a thick German accent who worked at the desk. She is the only person I've ever seen who had one of those Nazi tattoos on her arm of numbers, and that was at least 20 years ago. It is so long ago that it happened, there aren't many survivors that you see like that anymore.
They give me a number. They tattooed it onto me. I cannot take it off. I am just a number. This is all I am to them. Just a number. Just a number.
Takes me back to 1964 and Bob Dylan played at Sacramento's Memorial Auditorium. The place was only half full.
Finally Dylan is coming to YouTube. I've been waiting so long for this moment. Give the music to the people!
Great Song!
1st - love Bob Dylan
