This song is nasty as hell. The murder sequence might be one of the best passages of music I can recall from DT in a long, long time. LOVE the tease of Faythe's theme, giving the audience a clue who the walking shadow is before Daryus does.

It's just palm muted riffing.It could be in any style of metal. Not something that I would characterize as purely djent. I'd sooner label it as metalcore.
The defining djent sound is from actually not palm muting

So interesting how one of my favorite tracks from the album is also one of the shortest. James is amazing here. "YOU MURDERER!!!!!". The ending was amazing and creepy too!

This song was awesome live, I was a little disappointed that the screams were playback though.

Well, James can't force his voice too much, remember he's in a prog metal band and he's 54 years old, so... Besides, it's actually impossible to sing that section because he overlaps with himself.. ;)
