Dream Theater - Speak To Me Lyrics
I remember when we were so young
You embraced my fears and made me strong
Never did you actually hold my hand
Your silence no one else would understand
Did you crawl?
Will you open up at all?
Did you hear
things you fear?
Did I make it clear?
Tell me what you're thinking
Tell me what you're thinking
Tell me what you're feeling inside
Tell me what you're thinking
Tell me what you're feeling inside
Do you like the clothes she wears today
Colliding love affair against a shade
Often times I wish she'd speak to me
Her holy open book, a world revealed to see
Did you fall?
Did you crawl?
Will you open up at all?
Did you hear
things you fear?
Did I make it clear?
Tell me what you're thinking
Tell me what you're thinking
Tell me what you're feeling inside
Tell me what you're thinking
Tell me what you're thinking
Tell me all you're feeling inside
So easy, easier
If you spoke to me
So easy, easier
Speak to me
Tell me what you're thinking
Tell me what you're thinking
Tell me what you're feeling inside
Tell me what you're thinking
Tell me what you're thinking
Tell me all you're feeling inside

The glory days of DT
I've always wanted this live version... it's Awesome!!!!
The Cure - Lovesong
1:02 - 1:16 is pure godliness vocal sex magic.
Better than the studio version
I like it ..... (2018)
DT is always less and less progressive, and more softly. I understand, they want more money. But it's also ok if some fans don't accept this direction. And I see, why MP left the band.
When Portnoy left the band, he ans Petrucci the producers... He coule (and still was) calling shots. But after all thèse years with the band it seems like he wanted some new. He left the band after "The Rev" from Avenger Sevenfold died (the band was about tout start a Tour, they asked him to replace "The Rev" for the tour and i guess he saw an opportunity for renewal with this Tour .. that's when he left :( )
Yanick Lefebvre of course, if you want left band like DT, you have to at first get some oportunity. its the same like leaving some job - you first search another job and if you succes, then you left. try to see the point from other side - if DT stay hard and progressive, MP has no reason to left. the reason ''trying something else'' is not the reason to leaving DT. portnoy had couple of side projects and never left DT. thats my opinion.
@Daniel Mathia Here's the message he posted when he left:

He seemed more burned out then missing the "hard" side if DT. He and Petrucci were calling the shots anyway. It was their choice to make the music they wanted.
Anyway, i miss him. His drum parts were has melodic as the other members.
Beautiful song
I was there!
Mario van den Berg really? I'm really jealous 😫
Damn! Thats awesome :).
This dream theater's era was the best in my opinion
Kevin Moore era was the best.
linkin park “what I’ve done” sounds like this
Pura belleza
I miss Portnoy & his intensity to every performance.
Sorry, but... the cure - lovesong
zey just heard Adele's version of that song and immediately thought of Speak to me.
Old school DT was the shit
"I Walk Beside You" is the evolution of this song :)
Is this a DT song? Why have I never heard it?
Is from the demos of falling into infinity
@XxmarcoxX303 Thank you. Awsome song. It should have been on the album.
And the rest of the demos too!!
It's on the fan club CD.
Search Falling Into Infinity demos here on Youtube, it is how that album was envisioned.
Sounds very similar to U2.
they're a big fan of U2. during these era, they even play songs like Discotheque from U2's POP album.
Yes! I thought that I was the only one who thought that.
beautiful song, I love it!
if u dare...
I hate how portnoy seems to think he needs to help labrie on vocals
GZ Huang hahahahahah good one
GZ Huang But it does add a layer to the percussion.
Well considering at this point labrie was recovering that food poisoning the hurt his vocal cords.
Well ever think that James Labrie likes to jam with his band mates once in awhile instaid of just singing since having fun is part of the concert life.
Stacey cross he's not helping Labrie, he's actually doing some vocal harmonies to rich the vocal parts.
Is this their song or what?
+GoBerserk Bit late to reply to you, but yes, this is DT's composition.
Music: Dream Theater/Lyrics: LaBrie. Written during Falling Into Infinity sessions
A nighttown Nostalgia.
