First time i was earing the album i was a little asleep but between 0.50 and 0.55 i waked up immediatly ahah, love this album, best in my personal 15 years of DT.

God I love this riff.

It just struck me: at 3:19, where Daryus explains why he kidnapped Xander and threatens his life, music makes a reference to Misunderstood from Six Degrees!

What second of misunderstood

When I first heard this song I didn't really care about it but now this is one of my favorites. This album may not have a long song but this proves dream theater can be just as good with 4 minute songs.

Probably the best song on this album after many listening, Labrie voice is right there and the melody are incredible.

The key changes in this one, good lord they bring the drama. It's aspects like that in the songwriting that show the genuine musical theatricality they were shooting for on this record

I remember when I seen a season of changes live. It was amazing they would start with the intro then go into a mix of all their great song's & come back into the different parts of cos. With no breaks. like 2 hours of nonstop music. It was so well put together. Can't wait to see them on this.

@Scott Karrasch a change of seasons for example is a suite, that means that even though it is in the same track it has a lot of different sections. Other example is that metropolis pt 2 was originally meant to be a single song, Astonishing as a concept album follows a similar songwriting so it is like 2 hours song
