In 1989 when I was working at a factory they played the local rock station over the speaker system. This song as well as Glamour Boys by Living Color came on nearly 10 times a day while I was at work. Needless to say I hate both songs but I had to come here to remind myself how much I hated this song. The Doobie brothers are a good band however.

It's a great song even if the riff does make it sound a little like China Grove Part 2, but if its this good and they're borrowing from their own legacy, who cares.

Tom Johnston is one of the very best guitar players ever. No doubt. There is footage in the Doobie Brothers documentary "Let The Music Play", that would blow your mind. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

I'll listen to this song on my complete long plane trip from Albuquerque, New Mexico to visit pen pals in Phenix City, Alabama. I'll have to forward my time 2 hours ahead from Mountain Time Zone to Eastern Time Zone. Phenix City is in Eastern Time Zone due to being of Columbus, Georgia Metropolitan Area. My generation absolutely holds the title for the best of musical expression and creativity. I'm 65 BTW.

Modern music from today and last 30years is garbage. only horrible noise without meaning. I really HATE modern music.

I am so thrilled to see them still tour and share such amazing talent and music. Tom Johnston's voice will ALWAYS be the voice of the Doobie,Bros.even though MacDonald has a great voice, they never were the same as far as I am concerned. He gives them their rock power. Amazing performers and musicians. Can't wait to see them again. They opened as back up for 3 dog night in the 70's and their records sold off the shelves of ever store the next day in Salt Lake City. I saw them every time since when I could.

Daniel R 1989 was a quality year of the greats from the 60’s/70’s. These artists all had hits that year: Paul McCartney, Pete Townshend, Elton John, Billy Joel, Phil Collins, Aerosmith, Doobie Bros, Stevie Nicks, Chicago, Rod Stewart, Don Henley to name a few.

The "Doobie Doctors" always had it down. Miss those days so much.

This was a huge deal in the late '80s when the Doobies reunited and released this album.  Everybody was so pumped-up about it.  I just realized the intro sounds a bit like 'I Feel Like a Number' by Bob Seger.  Both awesome songs!

I remember the first time I saw this on MTV...............I was like "THE Doobie Brothers are BACK !!"
