Donovan - Teas Lyrics

I strolled into a deserted seaside café
All on a winter's day.
I ordered up a cup of rich brown steaming tea
From an old lady.
What happened to you, man, you used to be so free,
Now all you do is sit and dream
Of a fay girl green
By a mountain stream.
I strolled into a deserted seaside café
All on a winter's day.
I ordered up a cup of rich brown memories,
Sat and I watched the sea.
What happened to you, man, you used to be so free.
When you were as a mountain stream
Following a dream,
Following a dream.
What happened to you?
What happened to you

what a classic! this album was implanted in my subconscious from when i was 3, in 1968, thanks to mom and dad!
and it'll never be entirely removed--and i wouldn't want it to! haha!

Sorry to see this contribution buried on the second page at present. The leading alternative of Teas has some rather offensive, stereotypic hippie images appended to the video. This entry allows the listener to participate in the meditative space of the song.

yes... it's quite enough without a video, - but could also make for the greatest video, especially because it's so short!
