I still find Donny's voice the most incredibly soulful of instruments, his voice is still haunting and moving me after all these years. Live, i think his voice takes on another dimension and i find something healing in the way he delivers a lyric. @Yazmin kg you mean the low wobbly thing thats probably the wurlitzer. The high pitched stuff is the guitar. I forgot there is also some hammond organ on the record. I think it was later overdubbed

Mo Fed yes, I was referring to the wobbly thing, the same sound can be heard in “I love you more than you’ll ever know” and “giving up” if I’m recalling correctly. How can a piano make that sound, it must be the guitar. And the high pitched sound is electric guitar and not bass, right?

@Yazmin well, the wurltzer has a vibrato. And if you hit it hard in the low octave it can also distort like this. Look it up, its not a common piano in terms of sound production.
