WilliamMichael more specifically it was an article printed in the 80s that claimed that Donna was dissing the gay community and claimed that AIDS was God’s punishment to them. Which she vehemently denied ever saying. And she sued the magazine for publishing it. But the damage was already done. And she really didn’t really recover from it for awhile. She did end up getting a few more dance hits under her belt after Mistaken Identity so the gay community didn’t completely steer clear of her. Nowadays, though, most people don’t remember that happening or really care now that she’s been gone for several years. Her music is still being played at clubs, on the radio, etc. I went to goodwill yesterday and they were playing Hot Stuff over the PA. Her music was and is timeless and her music has only grown in stature since her passing!

Wretched video, even for the times, but then -- that was the thing. Not worthy of this AWESOME song. A great album to boot too.

There was some good songs on the album, but as a whole it wasn't the Donna Summer we knew because I think she was trying to branch out into different genres of music.

I remember when i first purchased this on cassette when it first came out..after the thrill of Another Place And Time, this turned out to be a disappointing album for me..but has since grown on me..no voice like hers ever..so talented.
