My wife and 6 month old daughter were killed by a drunk driver hitting them head on in 1999 a half mile from our house. Evertime I hear this song I just loose it totally. I miss and love you Amanda and my little lady bug Sandy. I'll join someday just wait for me.

I can say it is true about the tears dropping, but mine were inside me.. My wife who I loved told me she was tired of me and wanted me gone. I tried to get her love back but it was only getting worse so I walked out, took my truck, clothes, dog saddle and found a job in Texas at a place there. Lived in a little place in the woods and I should have said lived in a bottle of sorrows. Drinking as soon as I got off, ended when if I could, got to sleep. On my way to work I'd pass a Cowboy Church in Smyrna Texas that for some reason drew my attention. One night after a long day branding cattle and doctoring them I laid in bed hoping for sleep. For some reason I said; "Hello God, you don't know me, I'm a sinner!" Then I started telling of all the wrong things I'd could remember, every sin against people, family, loved ones and myself and I fell asleep and had the best nights sleep I'd had since I was a kid. That Sunday I went to that Cowboy Church and found the same people I'd grown up around. Stopped drinking, met a lady who had rode barrels in the rodeo and we hit it off. Now we love each other, swap stories about horses we've known, horse wrecks we lived though, people we knew and lost and life is good. I came back home and we have our own place know. So the tears can stop but sometimes you keep them inside you.
