I went to a package country show at Cobo Hall in Detroit (Sep1967) and Dolly was wearing this same dress & hairdo...tho she didn't have a # one yet she was amazing! she sang her new record 'Why Why' on Monument Records ~~~she signed w/ RCA soon after & the rest is history. BTW I think it was her first tour w/ The Porter Wagener Show'

Dolly came out of the starting gate showcasing that great songwriting talent, its too bad they were envious of her and threaten so she could not make number one but she showed them and holds that record today. She was just a par above all others in any genre when it comes to writing.
