Hey Dumbasses...this song was BEFORE Led Zep's overplayed, overhyped drivel.

I guess Led Zeppelin should sue Dolly Parton's just like Spirit is suing Led Zeppelin.

You would think so, but Zep didn't care.

@John Cornell This song didn't sell enough to make it worthwhile (I was 1 of the few people to buy this single), plus Led Zeppelin supposedly copied Spirit, so it would be hypocritical if they did. If anybody has cause to sue, it would be Spirit, but I don't think it would be worth their while, plus they already made their point by suing Led Zeppelin.

It's been established and proven in a court of law that Zeppelin didn't steal from Spirit so why still go on about it? Zeppelin won, Spirit lost. Spirit's appeal has gotten nowhere, nor will it. This Dolly Parton song uses EXACTLY the same notes as Stairway, while Stairway DOESN'T have exactly the same notes as Taurus. Dolly admitted she loved Stairway To Heaven and she even fully covered in on a later album.
Led Zeppelin have never sued ANY of the dozens of artists who have stolen from them and copied from them. Ever. They never cared. They have no problem with it.

Led Zeppelin Stairway to Heaven came out 4 year before this song so they should be doing the suing.

We Used To = 1975.
Dolly Parton was a Zep fan due to her husband. She liked them. She even covered Stairway To Heaven a few years back.

Wow these comments are so hateful. Dolly has stated she's a Zeppelin fan and covered stairway in 2002 anyway. She's written and composed over 5000 songs so of course one will blatantly take a guitar pattern from another song.
