Dokken - Bitter Regret Lyrics
Darlin' -don't let me go
until the last train rides
I wanna stay with you
when the morning comes
and it's time to rise
release the sorrow - deep within my eyes
life's only borrowed
[Chorus:]
Don't build your world with bitter regret
'cause I still feel it's not over yet
what we've done we'll have to forget
or all you'll reap is bitter regret
Wonderin' -how this came to pass
talk to me - 'cause I can't lift my head
anti-social suicide lyin' on my bed
release the sorrow - deep within my eyes
life's only borrowed
[Chorus:]
'cause I still feel it's not over yet
what we've done you'll have to forget
or all we'll reap is bitter regret
[Talkin' to my friend misfortune
take me for a ride
how I wish that I could only
give you back your life again]
Darlin' - I wanna stay with you
'till the morning comes
and that last train rides

Dokken Bitter Regret Comments
Good song, got something of the early Dokken sound
One of the greatest Dokken songs of all time on their worst album ever! Worth it just for this song.
EXCUSE ME Jason........... BUT YOU ARE SOOOOO FREAKING WRONG !!!!!!!!! This album is AWESOME !!!!! I don't know why the hell people especially Dokken fans give this album a hard time & a very hard time at that & ALL of them INCLUDING YOU are soo wrong !!!!! Dokken are truly masterful musicians ALL 4 of them & whatever they decide to do outside the box which of course this album is, they KNOW what they are doing & they made a masterpiece of this album & of course i LOVE EVERYTHING this awesome band ever did.......hint my logo........& i truly have to say i love this album as much as anything else Dokken ever did........& that's saying a LOT !!!!!!!!!!!!!
One of my all time favorite Dokken albums!
WHY do you have this listed as "full album" when this is FAR from this FULL album which contains 13 song.......... NOT 7 !
This and Convenience store messiah are both good songs and Hard to Believe is a great song, but the rest of this album is too grungy which of course is not where Dokken should have tried to copy.
George's biggest mistake was writing this album and forcing Don to sing for it.
Ok, did their producer take a walk? This is a good song. To bad the first part of this album is dog shit. I would love to hear what George Lynch would have done with the guitar parts. Reb Beach is no George Lynch......
WTF!!! DONT YOU KNOW GEORGE RECORDED THIS ALBUM???!!!
Uhm, This was a George Lynch recording
Where do you get that? It was me and Kelly Gray recording, George played guitar
SKS I miss you baby
