You couldn't possibly be more wrong.

I too found this because of that longboarding video but it's become so much more than that. I can place myself in the lyrics because it's about someone who lost the one they love (be it a sour relationship, or death) and the season brings back all the memories of the lost loved one. They've shut themself inside their cave (inside themselves, their work, whatever) and I guess the last few minutes is just the inner turmoil inside their mind.
