lol I'm 16 and I know it bc my parents have always played 80s and 90s hip hop around me especially during long car rides. I like modern and recent rap too (excluding mumble rap trash like lil uzi and fetty wap) but I also like 90s stuff like summertime and old snoop dog, Eminem, dr Dre, Nas etc. I wouldn't say there's any age that's too young for hip hop...it's more about maturity and knowledge of the music and it's history. But really all that matters is that you like it.

The hip-hop drumbreak is from The Honey Drippers - Impeach the President. Lotta old school rappers from the 90's sampled the beat. :)
