I was the playback, (sound), guy on this music video crew way back in 1988, It was shot at the old Earls Court Venue in St.Kilda during the day, then they played a gig there that night, after that we walked around St. Kilda and the City of Melbourne all night shooting the external night grabs, Chrissie was very nice to everyone but it was just after " I Touch Myself" blew up and the Americans in their band were jerks. Mark didn't talk to anybody, just hid behind his sunglasses. Those were the days, when Aussie bands Rocked !

Never mind the innuendos she was an asset to the entertainment industry with her voice imagination and the love of her life on stage..in another world..

"Temperamental" was when Chrissy had matured herself from the feral schoolgirl she had from the "Desperate era" to the soft spoken sultry babe she was from this era to the end.

Divinyls had an arsenal of their own superb material but I'm with +Warren552011 and +KnEpH131.......Elsie is really top drawer IMO, it's long been my favourite. So, I'm listening to the original and getting it together for our acoustic trio. We're doing a mandolin, guitar, bass version and my WIFE tells me, "Oh yeah the Divinyls did this song...is this a cover?" She's a little younger than me. So, I do a youtube search and run into this. I USED to think Alannah Miles was the hottest rock godess, ever. How did I miss the Divinyls? What a GREAT Rock band. Chrissy's hotter by accident than Alannah on purpose. RIP, Chrissy.
