I just wanted to say that this band is awesome I'm using my mom's account right now and my name is Christian Burnham if I can just reach out to lead singer of this band I'd like to thank you for steering me in a better path my Inspirations for music or absolute garbage for I listen to you I was listening to stuff like Avenged Sevenfold Motionless In White Asking Alexandria and all those bands ever did was advocate my fear of people and dealing with people and arming myself with worthless knowledge and constant reminders that I'll never be able to get out from underneath the tyranny of people's lack of understanding that they had over me I feel that those bands that I did listen to advocated massive paranoia advocated a psychosis and a mental state of mind that was constantly shocking me and keeping me in a cage of my own fear and self-doubt but now that I've come to realize that not all alternative music is that way and I've come to realize that Jesus Christ really is the way I come to realize it bands like this are the bands that matter most it's bands like yours it gives me true inspiration for the longest time I thought I wanted to be famous for the longest time I wanted to be noticed but now I realize I can't go to bat for anyone not myself and definitely not God because God went to bat for me when he brought Jesus Christ for me I was never meant to face these demons I was never meant for battle I was meant to Rejoice this life I was meant to Rejoice to get that I've been given I was meant to help others Rejoice their gift as well and I want to thank disciple personally for helping me see that and I can't wait to start writing good music for the sake of my fellowship and my freedom to be a true Christian and to celebrate that everyday with the people that I love I'd like to apologize to everyone that I've ever hurt with my art and everybody that I could have hurt when my art was starting to become a parasitic monster I studied music and I was beginning to use it as a weapon it's not meant to be used that way it's meant to be used for the good of mankind and the only good man kind of can be used for is the healing of others and I believe that that healing can only be obtained do the idolization a Jesus Christ himself I want to personally think bands like this their help me pull myself out of the Shadows and back into the light I recently undergone a serious mental state of psychosis and paranoia that took my life in a Direction that could have killed me I was under a lot of stress because I pursued this dream on my own I pursued this dream of rock and roll and learn every instrument and learn how to record it all also learning psychology to back it up learning the basic principles a truly interacting my music and applying it to the people around me in such a way they can keep people interested and every word that I say but such power comes with great responsibility and a tampering with that responsibility can come with a grave cost to those who pursue the art of music my prayers is that you take the right path because if you take the wrong path it can have us some really devastating consequences. And if you take the path the way I did it God be with you because pursuing the musical arts on your own becoming a true prodigy is not easy and it will take a toll on your body mind and Spirit music has a much deeper element to it and now I become a lot more respectful to that element I'm changing my absolute Outlook my playlist and everything that I interact with as far as media arts are concerned and I'm going to apply them strictly for Christianity and helping those going through traumatic experiences to have a more positive outlook on life because in a life full of trauma if we look at things in a negative light we will never make it and we will fall every time and some Falls are not worth falling for that is my message to the world thank you for listening

Andrew Overmyer I don't know what you're referencing here, but the old testament and new testament are incredibly close in relation. Jesus enveloped the 10 commandments in to 2, love God above all things (1-4) and love your neighbor as you love yourself (5-10).

for one thing being a christian doesn't mean you can not have tattoos or piercings the do no harm to the body and it also said in the bible the Jesus will come back with i am the king of kings and lord of lords written on his side kings in bible times had tattoos and piercings to show that they were royal king David had them and i am pretty sure we are not going to tell king David he cant be in heaven because of that

The no ink on flesh rule in Leviticus was made due to the Pagan religions marking their skin. The Jews God's people were around a lot of Paganism at the time, and they didn't have Jesus so God set those strict rules in order to keep them Godly. Jesus fulfilled the laws. So yes, christians can have tattoos. My youth pastor has them everywhere. (They mostly all pertain to Jesus). Though Jesus fulfilled the law, don't confuse it with abolishment. It was a serious rule back then, and we should try to understand it. Also King David having tattoos was a sin in that time (and I'm not sure if he did or not but please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm still in Leviticus.) King David also was lustful, and that was a very serious sin back then. More understandable than tattoos, but neither permitted by God at that time. All of God's followers sin, but they all get God's forgiveness. Wether in the Old testament by sacrificing an animal in place of the sin or through Jesus Christ in the New testament. The Bible really is big and complicated, which makes it so fun to read.

the basis is, if you do not think it is a sin, or if your purpose is to glorify God in a loving manner, that can bring others to Christ, then go for it. there will be people who disagree and who think you are sinning, and both parties should respect each other's opinions, in the specific verses I am referring to in Romans, Paul uses the idea of eating meat. in that time, eating unprepared meat, or meat that had not undergone a VERY specific ritual was looked down upon, (if you look at the preparation requirements, they are very similar to today's preparation, involving washing of hands, cooking, etc)
so, the question was, if I ate unprepared meat, could I still follow Christ? the answer Paul gave was the man who eats the meat will be saved just as the man who doesn't eat will be. the reason behind this is because the man who eats the meat, is not doing so out of a lack of love for God. he is doing it for the nourishment that it provides so that he may continue to live for God. the man who doesn't eat, does so out of respect for God. he does not want to let God down in any way and lives a stricter lifestyle to respect God, he continues by saying, that if "meat-eaters" are invited to have dinner with the others they should respect their wishes and not bring unprepared food, and vice versa, the "vegetarian" does not have to eat but he should respect his hosts.

To be honest, this would be very fitting to the Passion.

I arrived late to the party. the whole deal is, yes it's a sin. God says "your sins are forgiven." and casts them into the deepest waters, never to be remembered. think about it this way: the sin isn't *having* a tattoo, the sin is *getting* a tattoo. but this also brings up the abolishing or the law of Moses, how Jesus completely fulfilled the law so we don't live by it anymore. If you don't know what the law of Moses is, essentially it's the laws that God told Moses to write so he could govern his people. God told Moses to build an ark, to put the 10 commandments inside the ark, and the law of Moses outside of the ark (yes, Moses built an ark too. sadly I don't remember the specific verses in relation to this.) The verse in Leviticus that was posted earlier falls under the law of Moses. what I'm trying to say is, God forgives us for sins we commit, as he's forgiven those who have broken the law of Moses back then. even if the law wasn't abolished, it says to not make piercings not tattoos *for the dead.* That is a big part of it as well. I don't even know why I'm writing this, it's 5:50 A.M.. Long story short, because I've been rambling, God's gonna forgive you if you're willing to ask for it and repent from your sin. I hope the Lord finds you, but until then, I'll be praying for you. I know that songs like this cause some to hate because it's Christian and about God, but does it matter in the end what it's about. It says it's worth the pain. God's gift of free will means that YOU can make it whatever you want to be worth the pain. Some days for me it breathing, and smiling. Others though it's worth the pain to love this world of pain that God that has put me in.

Wow just heard this song for the 1st time, Amazing song!

To me, this song is about holding on and fighting and surviving. Life is really hard and I'm saying this at only 15 years old. I have been through so much and still going through them. Its hard to want to live sometimes and its hard not to want to give up on life, but when I listen to this song it gives me hope. It tells me that someday I will be rewarded for the pain I have and am going through. There is always hope, you just have to find it.

This is the most stressful part of the process as once fired, the vessel may crack and split, whereas it must be pulverized in to dust once more, remixed with water again, and the process begins again. Do not leap off of the Potter's Wheel or out of the kiln before the Potter has completed His work!! He has you in His hands with all wisdom and love to make you in to a vessel for His glory!!

Hal Jordan Iraq*, there is only one god, and that's God. there are misinformed people, if I was born in Iraq, I agree I would most likely be Muslim because of my surroundings and how my parents would've brought me up, but that doesn't change the fact that God is the one true God. I was brought up in a family where we called ourselves christians but never really lived by it until my sister contracted a sickness that essentially paralyzed her from the waist down, where after my sister was in the hospital for about a month, my mom offered her life in true dedication, and promised to give up her jewelry (she wore a lot of jewelry) in exchange for the health of my sister. my sister has strength in her legs the night my mom made the "exchange", and today she walks completely fine, where doctors said if she was to walk again, it would be with a cane. so yeah, I guess your geography dictates your religion, but the things I've seen solidify that there is a god, and although He has many names; God, Jehova, Yahweh, YHWH, YWVH, etc., He is the one true God. sorry, didn't mean to give you an essay.

You can be religious and do science at the same time. its not hard. and you should realize that times change and that you should be flexible as well. the bible was written by humans who at the time hadn't had the scientific knowledge we do today. but that doesnt make the bible wrong. it just makes it less precise. be strong and be good. im more of an atheist than religious, but I respect religion, and love the idea of God and Christ. cheers!

No, not at all. I didn't say he was wrong to believe in God or that when he dies nothing will happen at all, he/she'll simply just be dead. I also didn't express any ill will on that person.
