Disciple - Regime Change Lyrics
Build it up, I'll tear it down
My finger in the strings connected to your hands
I dance the mockery, a theme of decadence
Now I am sinking in this violence
This time, emancipation is my right
This is what I want, for you to die
This is what I want, to be alive
Scene of complacency, an apathetic mind
But when it's brought to light, I see a king on a borrowed throne
Right now, the violence taking over
This time, regimes are changing in my mind
I'm so sorry, my old friend, I'm leaving you tonight
So caught in this moment, the last breath of your life

+DizturbedFan its awesome! i love bb and desciple
the singer and bassist (at the time of this album a few days before it released) said they have been saving up to get halo reach. does that help?
That intro tho

@samuentaga If you look at it from a Christian perspective, it's entirely likely he's talking about dying to his sinful lifestyle and giving control over his life to Jesus.
if you look at it from a christian perspective you should go die somewhere
Um that's what it actually means
This song is awesome, but the lyrics are actually very sad. As i read it, the song is about a person running away from his dying friend, showing cowardice. If someone else sees something else in this song, reply to this comment.
its actually about the crucification of Jesus. God telling him what he needs to before being sold out by Judas.
This song is about repentance and being crucified with Christ. "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." Regimes are changing in my mind.
I view it as someone killing an old friend who became evil.
awesome.
pure awesomeness!!!!!!!!!!
