Just to let you know, that Jesus Christ of Nazareth does not look like that now. One night after midnight I was on my deck praying for my dad who just called to tell me he was just diagnosed with prostate cancer when while praying for my dad , Jesus showed himself to me. He is bright as light . Completely illuminated with white light.. John 3:16.

@Jane Doeyes, I didn't go into details but it was after midnight when I saw him . He was surrounded by white golden light. I could see his forearms and hands and lower legs as he walked slowly down a hill in our backyard. I could actually see his hands open with his fingers pointing towards the ground. I could not make out his face or torso because the his light was so bright surrounding him in what you called a " form". What was the circumstances surrounding the Lord revealing himself to you.?.

@Jane Doe hi sister. Jesus said it himself. God hears the people who tell him " have mercy on me Lord " . I pray to the Lord every day with my heart. The world wants to push the Lord away. One thing I would recommend is listening bbn. It is a wonderful ministry. It is based in Charlotte nc but it goes all over the world in over 50 languages. There is so many things that you can do for the Lord. I would start a non profit organization and help women and children. The Lord will lead you. You are his child. You just have to pray to the lord Jesus Christ every day and ask him for forgiveness and keep going .Jesus said to forgive people 7 times 7 .He wouldn't ask us to do something that he himself would not do. So many orphanages and homeless women and families. I'm not saying to open a homeless shelter but you can help tremendously by supporting them. God bless you sister. Listen to bbn. They are on line. Having trouble understanding the meaning in this one... love the song though

It's Jesus saying that He became every sin that we have done so that we could be free of them. He lists some of them in the verses and the chorus is Him saying give me your penalty for your sin. Such a great song!

I read the lyrics for the song but I don't understand the story behind the song so I would love for someone to explain the story behind the song for me please. This is a great song and such a heavy song with heavy guitars and love the breakdown of the song as well.

It's talking about how Jesus takes on (is) all our sins and misdeeds. Even though he knew no sin and is pure he took on what should have been our penalty, he died for our sins.

These guys really know how to put out banger after banger. They change up their sound a bit with each record, but stay Disciple at the same time. It's very hard to do that these days. Props to them!

@Jane Doe the lyrics are "reanimate innocence" which to me means Jesus dying on the cross makes us innocent in God's eyes again.

Finally! Disciple is back as an actual metal band and has the Gospel plainly in their lyrics. All the reasons I originally loved them. Thank you Disciple for not being sell-outs to the industry. Thank you for being unashamed of the Gospel.
