Even now after 35 years 😂 thinking back I wished I had told her a loved her more than I thought. I did .💗I wouldn't swap her for no money nor wealth and this song has summed it up beautifully after all these 🤕🤧😤😎😇

This is by far my fav DS song, or rather one of my favourite songs ever... It has always been since I listened to the entire LP back in 1980... Maybe not so famous like many others but pure poetry... I often found myself crying while listening to it and not for the state of mind I was into but merely for its beauty and the emotions Hand in Hand can convey. After so many years, it still has this effect on me

Been listening to DS since I was 12 back in the late 80's. Always wanting more tracks. And then, over 20 years later, I discovered tracks like this one , actually this whole album. I was so happy to have some "new" amazing tracks from my all time favourite band. Thank you Dire Straits for making this emotionally beautiful music. Truly the best.

their best album by far . I dont think anyone under rates them though , he is a genius on guitar and their first three albums are terrific by any standards . makes life worth living , having music like this to listen to .
