Mark Knopfler made great music. I don't like the music he's making now, that's just crap.Hiilabilly kind of Scottish shit. Don't know. Love the guy for his early work. That's why people think he's magic. I hope he will one day return and deliver an album as much as good as.....
The crap he brings out right now isn't Mark. It's just a easy midlife talking. This guy has the meaning to turn lifes around for the better. I hope he one day does writing romantic songs with guitar who only a couple of poeple on this earth can provide.

Hes nearly 70. His music now is actually pretty good I used to have a similar opinion, but imagine playing the same old tunes for 40 years now he had to move on to somethign else. And he still now and then plays some of the old tunes live which is good.
