Yeah absolutely no way. Dion is great, so is Del Shannon. Perhaps if Dion had recorded it around the same time, but this is pretty recent sounding
@Will Adapter I agree with you. Both versions are wonderful to listen to. It doesn't matter to me whose is better. I like Del's raw voice better in his recording, but Dion has nothing to apologize for. He does covers better than anyone.

Chris Spencer, this obviously is Dion singing this song. I'm 15 years old and I've been listening to Dion (with or without the Belmonts) since I was a little kid. I know what Dion sounds like. He did a great remake of Del Shannon's "Runaway". Kind of sad I'm a teenager and I know more about him than you do Chris. Lol.

I believe this is Dion most recent CD. For a guy who is into his 70's I would say this is pretty darn good. Dion is a classic rocker and always will be.
