Just hearing his voice again knowing that he is gone from us makes me wanna weep. I grew up on that miraculous voice and them hardcore guitar riffs. Why do people die? I know that my time as well is coming. None of us can escape it. The reaper will come for each and everyone of us eventually. And i want to say something. Ronnie James dio had the best healthcare possible, plus millions of dollars in his bank account yet NONE of that could save that precious man. So that tells you and i that we don't stand a chance. DIO was from childhood Destined For greatness. Everyone who’s anyone Cared for a DIO. Not only was this music touching on fantasy and science but touching on religion but he is also a wonderful person. He is the one who forces the path and future that will forever remain The god of rock and roll and heavy metal. I only came to hear "Dream Evil" back in 2011 . I avoided this album for many years thinking it was "too commercial" . Too bad because today it´s one of my faves by Dio , what a Masterpiece it is !!!

I am going to let you in on some incredulous insights that may boggle most peoples minds , with several key points.

I predict the current self-serious, dour, uptight/constipated tone of today's metal - and the general plastic vapidity of today's pop, with its fake and untalented faces - will age very poorly. What seems "cheesy" now was just un-self-consciously expressive and reveling in what was possible. Today's phony sense of coolness has taken over too much, and it won't seem so fun or endearing down the road.
