Dinosaur Jr. - What If I Knew Lyrics

Ankle deep and wonderin' why I'm full of doubt
All this thinkin's stoppin' me from helpin' out
I can't say I wasn't warned
I've been tryin' but I'm torn

Is it you, who?
Is it me you wanted to?
Is it three - what if I knew?
If we could find another way, love
If we could go back a few more days

I'm readin', fadin', contemplating all my love
Penetrated by the wasteland I've become
I don't wanna go through more
I don't know what to try for

Is it you, who?
Is it me you wanted to?
Is it three - what if I knew?
If we could find another way, love
If we could go back a few more days now

Take it back and run away
Take it back and run away
Take it back and run away
Take it back and run away
Take it back and run away
Take it back and run away
Take it back and run away
Take it back and run away
Take it back and run away!

hey dude its chill i understand your concern but nickelbacks just what playing on the radio you know you dont have to listen to it that whats awesome about the internet you have the option of tapping into any genre or era for free music is over priced man but it will always thrive musicians will never die out the world of music in to enticing to them

vinyl has the most soul. cassettes sound great too. the industry just wants us to re-buy our collections every decade. any real music fan wants copies of the music they love. not an electronic digital memory reproduction hiding in your computer. cds are cold and sterile compared to the glory of vinyl and being able to hold that record sleeve in your hand.

yeah maybe. but I really worry when bands that 20 years ago could continue a moderate underground existence and today they can barley afford a new pack of strings. the economy is not helping either. I really believe bands are falling off the map because they can't afford to keep going. And ALL WE ARE LEFT WITH IS FUCKIN NICKLEBACK. On another note 20 bucks is too much 4 a cd. whatever. I'll try to calm my tits.

cds have more soul than bytes IMO :)

@malkinmario That's a valid point, unfortunately the money that most artists make from cd sales is quite insignificant. You're better off buying from itunes, or, truly even better, stealing the music and making a donation directly to the band. This has the additional advantage of getting a preservable format, unlike cds which are rapidly becoming obsolete.

This song is great for rolling in the summer time with the windows down.

yeah dude indie rock and alternative rock to me is that much better.. it's not so mainstream so it can truly be appreciated its not so much about the money at all as opposed to the music these guys make great music and they probably sell there tix for pretty cheap

Damn straight, finally someone i can get on board with in terms of musical ethics, if you like the band buy their albums, it's a miniscule contribution to how great the music is and how hard they work, is anyone seriously telling 10 or 12 songs like this aren't worth 20 euro or dollars or whatever, refreshing to see someone with the same views, also when they came to ireland last year i went to see them and tickets cost 25 euro!,thats cheap
