Yeah, it would appear that anyone can make a music video these days. It's not even good quality. Like it was just filmed on a phone. Great song but the video's hardly 'feel the pain' standard.

I love the contrast between J's soft vocals and the gritty, raw bass tone of Lou in the first part of the tune.
A very tasteful choice that shows how much talent these guys have in the noble art of rock songwriting!
The second section is totally epic too.
Easily one of their latest best songs.

Eppoh Heermans I saw dinosaur Jr in I think it was '89 st lollapalooza but I had never heard of them at the time and they had a lot of equipment problems and sounded like crap Plus they came on right after arrested development so the crowd was kinda burned out then like 2 years later they were one of my favorite bands never seen them sense

The first time I saw them was in 87 or 88, also in Amsterdam. It was after the release of Living All Over Me. Seen them a few times since but missed them a lot of the times they were over here. So I'm very happy I have tickets for june! J is my favorite guitarplayer and I love Lou at the bass!

Great song. Not a very inspiring video. I mean the footage was cool to look at, but it had nothing to do with anything.

Listen, I have some high standards. I love you J, Lou, and Murph. Always.

Live footage is easy to come by, and quick to edit. Someone wanted to save time and money and put out a video quickly.

"This song is one of my favorites from Give A Glimpse Of What Yer Not. It is everything amazing about Dinosaur Jr.: soft yet hard with J's awesome sense of vocal melody and a heavy dose of guitar schralping! I shot the entire video live while on the most recent US tour, and in slow-mo and black and white to capture the way I see tour life. This is a very hardworking band - Dinosaur Jr. had no idea I was doing this, so what you see is very honest and all live, shot at many venues across the US with different types of cameras. "Knocked Around" is my take, and what I get from the song about being far away from family. The beginning of the video is my favorite section, with J's son Rory guitar teching for J onstage. Lou's sock dance/art is pretty rad, also. Thirty years after the start of this great band, they continue to release amazing albums - one right after the other."
