Most of TDEP's stuff was a little too schizophrenic and scattershot for me to really get into, but this song actually has a solid rhythm that's filled with their trademark diversity without going completely over the top!

This video is boring. I love Benjamin Weinman.

My favorite guys by these guys. I really like this band and their intense heavy stuff, but in this track, the main vocalist use more varibiality and those low notes are chilling. It has really memorable melody, which i love about this track.

The chorus is so fun. Brilliant songwriting, really. These guys could get away with songs like this without pissing off most of their fanbase

I remember when this came out I was mad because it didnt sound like the DEP i knew. Now 10 years later I decided to give their other album a try and I can't stop listening to this song !

The hardcore types that didn't like how their sound evolved after C.I. are so narrowminded . Give them their Hatebreed and Earth Crisis albums, a pair of basketball(or cargo) shorts, a pair of new balance 574's, and the costume is almost complete. We'll need to see some ink on those legs of course. But if those tats are completely finshed you've gone too far. Part of it needs to be just line work for atleast 2 years. Now, you're almost there.. wait. What's this? Take that shirt off now! Yes, the band has played Hell Fest making choice of band an automatic pass BUT the back does not have a live photo of the band. And though there is a dramatic quote, unfortunately it's not containing atleast one of the four mandatory xHCx keyspeak: Death-Dishonor-Rise-Overcome.

I seen them live once in a tiny club supporting mastodon with red fang, I was a dumb teenager then. Now I know I probably won't ever be able to see them again I feel like a spud.

Is it strange that I think this song is very similar structurally to "Unretrofied"? Here's my argument:
- Instrumental section followed by first verse
- First chorus
- Second verse
- Second chorus
- Heavy breakdown
- Quiet section followed by third chorus, end.
Maybe I listen to too much Dillinger, IDK. But I just noticed these similarities. What do you guys think?

I really enjoyed when Gil sharone was drumming for them he gave them a new angle of weirdness they were needing. But strangely it is there more straightforward stuff that appeals with Gil. He does a great job of doing the old stuff but it doesn't have his influence intwinned through it as much as this stuff. Awesome drummer

DEP is just genius. The fact that they can do something like this, 43% Burnt and Farewell Mona Lisa and sound great on all of it is just amazing. This is one of most totally original sounding "singles" I've ever heard in my life. Wow.

Thomas Kirschner Officially it still classified as metalcore but fans of this sort of progressive and complex subset call it "Mathcore".

Spencer Rud This sounds for me like Rock influet with a little bit pop. Metalcore has doublebass and is faster und harder.

Most of the songs they write are clearly mathcore (like 43% Burnt ), but on every album they have one or two songs with a more pop-ish sound, like this one.

I showed this song to my niece who's into shitty pop music and it's like her favorite song now. If Dillinger could just get some radio play for their more melodic songs, they might be way more popular than they are now.

@Thomas white I don't think it's a case of one being better than the other, it's just that Killer Be Killed is groove metal and Dillinger Escape Plan is mathcore.
If you prefer groove metal to mathcore, of course you'll prefer Killer Be Killed. Personally, I like both.

This new Faith No More single is pretty good. Didn't know they were back together.

Well Mike Patton has worked with these guys... I wonder why there might be some similarities vocally. FNM influences a lot of bands amd have Mike especially has influenced many other singers. Personally I see nothing wrong with it. In fact I wish more bands were as awesome these two. Oh and FNM are back together....

Out of everything they can do, I like this the most.

Diversity? That's why they make different genres of music! When the band is known for a "sound" they should embrace on that point. Kind of like a tattoo artist developing their own style. When you change band members, you should change your fucking name. It is not the same recipe any longer. This band died a long time ago. I'm sure the band as it exists today is appealing to some people, however I am not one of them. Don't get me wrong I like folk, blues, jazz, metal, hardcore, punk, dance hall, alternative, hip-hop, and this is plain garbage.
