The only Black Sabbath song that can be sung better by Bruce over Ozzy is this one.

Ozzy wasn't the best singer so I can't imagine it's hard to best him. He's got a unique tone but Dio was the far better Sabbath vocalist.

I will say that Bruce is a better singer than Ozzy, by far, but I disagree that he sung this song better. I'm not saying it's bad, as he did a great job, but hell, even if he did "sing this better" as far as the majority of fans are concerned, I still prefer Ozzy's vocals on this song.

No way just the fact they changed that last riff when they're singing "Everything around you whats it coming too" disqualifies it. Iommi, Butler and Ward destroy that part. It's one of the heaviest riffs ever. Great cover though

Bruce makes this song sound like it was made just for him. I bought this album when it first came out. I don't remember liking many of the other songs. This was definitely the best song on the album.

LOVE this version. Bruce is a way better singer than Ozzy and he improved the song by getting rid of that elevator music part. That said, I think the guitar sound is too muddy, the one flaw.

+Jason G. Clauss No I think its important to bring out the sentimental thing going on with ozzy's voice. It's not elevator music and btw I agree that the guitar sounds too muddy. But also the thing with this whole tribute album is that every band here cant recreate the feel that the rhythm section of black sabbath had. The drumming lacks dynamics thats the main thing and the triggered bass drum is always pretty shitty.

As amazing as Dickinson is, even he can't hit the notes Ozzy hit in the 70s. That is insane considering Ozzy's reputation of having a shitty range.

James Fielding he can go higher than Ozzy on anything.

James Fielding a range is meant to have a start and an end point.so you should actually think where someone's vocal range is positioned on eg G2-G4 or C3-C5 .therefore being able to hit high notes does not mean you have a wide vocal range.Bruce has a wider vocal range and could hit higher notes than Ozzy who always sounded to me like a cat.You are just comparing different periods.

I think that Ozzy's voice fits Sabbath well, but never liked the way he sounds in this song. So for me Bruce is better. Anyway: I don't like the chorus in this one at all. Anyway: Long live Bruce Dickinson: my favorite singer of all time. (Saw Ozzy live this summer and he sounded great. Never heard him sound that well!)
