I grew up hearing Neil on the radio, but I never heard this song. I have read that many people didn't care for the African side of this album, but I love this particular song. It's uplifting with a driving tempo.

I've listened to 2 Neil Diamond songs so far, his songs connect the human spirit to a deeper level, transcends the human mind and spirit to eternal peace and deeper understanding. At least that's how his songs and music make me feel, just my opinion.

We were extremely close and on our way home from Chase Farm hospital, Dad played Neil Diamond - His 12 Greatest Hits (MCA Records - MAPS 7400) on his Land Rover's Sharp cassette player. It was if it were yesterday every time I hear any track played from this LP. Still brings a tear to my eye.

Not to brag or make you feel bad ...but I went to see him 1998 and it was the BEST time ! There were nice chairs but I never sat down once! He is a great performer....he gives it all and above ❤.
