I felt it spelling out the love of a sister watching and hoping her brother wold find love,peace,a home atlast. My brother gave his life doing the quiet work... a devotion few have so the rest of us can have the illusion of feeling safe. There never could be a life partner who could play second fiddle to that style of functioning. I filled in the best I could, when he needed to unburden the horrors he'd been thru. Had to keep my mouth shut when it became clear he was running from himself and see how these folks try to cope using unhealthy crutches.Just when it looked like he could stand down,stop cheating death and retire early for a 'normal' life...out of the blue I'd said to a co-worker ' I am never going to see my brother again'. Our bond was so strong, much like twins we could 'feel' the other one in trouble even if it was half the planet away. Two nights later, at midnight,every police car from two towns descended on my farm. Unusual, but in our world it is a sign of deep respect. Fate had stepped in with other plans for my brother. THIS TIME I COULDN'T SAVE HIM. <3 I'd give anything for that one last hug. <3 This song can be about any love shared between hearts.YEP, I've talked here a lot ..let's call it therapy. Creator knows how to move us, when the time is right, and let us heal a little. Mr.Neil Diamond...you probably will never see this..nope. But things would be left undone if I didn't say Thank You from the heart and send love your way. david sanderson I too gave my husband back to God in 2016, it was his 3rd fight with cancer, it was 6 weeks before our 42 year anniversary...he fought like a warrior till his last breath..his plan was for that night was a bottle of Strawberry Hill wine and listening to Neil Diamond all night.On the 25th of Feb.2016...I toasted my love and listened to this album.He is still my husband ...and he was there...in my heart and the memories we shared.
