Diamond, Neil - Back From Baltimore Lyrics
Hey, see how she kissed me
Yeah, no reason for the girl to lie
She say she gonna miss me
Yeah, smile on my face, I wave goodbye
For a week or two
I hurried back from Baltimore
Baby, where are you?
Where are you?
Yeah, I'm about to crumble
Yeah, come see me die before your eyes
Yeah, my thoughts all jumbled
And my throat is dry from asking why
For a week or two
I hurried back from Baltimore
Baby, where are you?
Where are you?
[Instrumental]
Girl, I've been back from Baltimore
For a week or two
I hurried back from Baltimore
Baby where are you?
Well, I've been back from Baltimore
For a week or two
I hurried back from Baltimore
Baby, where are you?
Where are you?

Diamond, Neil Back From Baltimore Comments
Ronnie Dove , how good is this guy ? Got this on repeat big time !
Around 1967, I remember calling my local radio station to request they play this song more often as I really liked it. I don't think I've heard it since then. I didn't realize it was a Neil Diamond tune. Thanks for uploading it.
This song is particularly interesting because Neil Diamond, who produced this record, is singing backing vocals on someone elses recording. If you listen carefully you can hear Neil singing harmony in the right channel.
written by neil diamond
always liked this one a lot.
Neil also wrote "My Babe" by Ronnie, which you can hear on the official Ronnie Dove Music Youtube channel. We will have Back From Baltimore posted soon, too. This video here is not approved by or sanctioned by Ronnie, it is simply here because youtube has a rights agreement with a company that should not have the rights to this recording.
he sure did
i will check your's out--i simply love the song
