Devo - Beulah Lyrics
Beulah
You are so beautiful
Beulah
You feel so big
Beulah
And when I wake up in the morning
You look so good, naked
You feel so good, to me, to me
Beulah
You are so beautiful
Beulah
Beulah
There is so much of you to love.
[x2]
Love, love, love, love, love [repeating]

Devo Beulah Comments
So My Lai Mama really became I need a Chick.
beautiful found (find), surfing for devo devo covers
as if beulah were performed by a pod of whales
this shit is so hilarious, the best fucking live album ive ever heard by any band.
This was the time when the band almost got into fights because of their weird pranks thrown at people. I mean, what were they thinking at the time? The sun ra incident i mean.
The people at the party must have been raising their eyebrows by the time they've finished Beulah. Which begs the question: " Uh... What just happened?"
Holy shit! How does this even exist?

This set is on the "Mongoloid Years" CD. Jerry's snappy liner notes are worth the price of admission.
It was a Halloween concert and the audience was in costume. Mark said, "Drunk mummies were shaking their fists at us. Draculas were shouting obscenities at us."
best description of anything by anyone
There WILL NEVER and CAN NEVER be another DEVO.
I like this ENTIRE concert :3 I like "Beulah" (which later became "Jesus", the 30 minutes of "Jocko homo" and the fight at the end XD too bad there's no footage of it :I
With a crappy trumpet patch!
And the common time, four-chord, acoustic rendition of "Jocko Homo". That version completely bastardized the song and killed its legitimacy!
Why bother with Booji Boy or tampon coats or Auto Modown when you can have the worst in our catalog!
Devo makes me so fucking angry sometimes.
But then again this is the same group of guys who sat down and thought that Don't Be Cruel and Agitated would get them popular again…
But hey at least we're getting the full 1977 Max's Kansas City show with the David Bowie introduction on vinyl. We could be getting a lot more, but at least it's not a greatest hits that leaves off "Mongoloid"
Oh God yes. Are you talking about the 1990 Greatest Hits? That was the first album I discovered, back in 2012. Looking back, I can't believe they decided to put the REAL hits on Greatest Misses.
Yes, that was my second devo album. Q&A was my first in 2011.
I gotta love how, Daddy Know-it-All at Warner decided to leave off the fan favorite, and in it's play put a remix of a track from one of Devo's most hated albums. Granted, the original Here to Go is probably one of the better tracks from Shout, but dear god, why?
So, yeah Greatest Misses is FAR superior than Hits
Indeed.
Club Devo featured this on their Facebook page. Congrats, Judas!
I just find it really odd that anyone that went to see Sun Ra would be upset at missing out on a Bad Company cover band.
Someone uploaded it !
The whole thing is hilarious, but special mentions go to the last 30 thirty seconds of Beulah, the ear splitting synth throughout the entire concert, and "I BET YOU CAN ALL GUESS BUT I MEAN PENIS"
