Devin Townsend - Ziltoid Goes Home Lyrics
Into the void we go to fuel our own volition
Between the fall of man, the gods and the submission
To each their own they say while promising salvation
The god is money, man, we'll fall into remission... fight!
Incestuous desires will feed your own addiction
To face your fears requires you burst into the question
Do not deny the possibility of weakness
Condemns the mind and draws the soul into the sickness!
Ah! You're running away from me
I fall in love with you!
A way out is the way!
Fear in the face of creation
Lies in the eyes of God
You are the face of God and you hold the fates you're calling
Fear not your words!
I know
You've been submitted to the force of my creation!
You have the son of light to feed your own vocation!
And every son of man who falls to this transmission
See as the fallen ones come further to the mission!
tell me what you want from all!
You're running away from me
I fall in love with you!
A way out is the way!
Ah! You're running away from me
I fall in love with you!
A way out is the way!
Home we go!
Oh, God of solar mind
Now let my spirit rise!
You are the face of God and you hold the fates you're calling
Fear not your words!
Never be afraid of this power!
Connect this, through everything forever!

Holy fucking moly! <3
This song is great.
Касапница :)
fuckin epic
Much preferred Dark Matters to ZTO. Production was a lot better, a lot clearer, and overall it was more musical/melodic and enjoyable, not to mention easier to digest.
dark matters is very good....ZTO is pure greatness
so soilwork-esque
how dare you

SYL is that you?
Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Amazing.
The choir parts on this are just so fucking epic it would escape a black hole.
Check out Fear Factory - A Therapy For Pain.
anyone know who is growling/screaming at like 2:30 ish? sounds pretty sick
bassist maybe
I think is the same guy that sings in Planet Smasher.......look for the video
for anyone still wondering Devin said that in the first ziltoid record he pitched his growls down so that may be the case here
So, in 2014, RVP has replaced Portnoy as my drummer of choice. Portnoy has had quite a few years of influence, but RVP brings an element of COMPLEMENTING the center of the music, not BEING the center of the music (like Portnoy tried to do). I love the production on this track (and most of Devin's work) because all of the elements have individual voices but are interconnected in a wall of sound.
At least twenty of these views are from me alone.
Woke up screaming on the wrong side of the head!
@Kyyp3r INDEED!
darn I didn't notice that nod :O
So much SYL in this one. Infused with the pop/ziltoid epicness. No ends to this guys creative abilities. Devin Townsend For Fucking Life!!!!
Too bad the rest of this album isn't as good as this.
Too bad it is.
Tracks 4, 9 and 10 are the ones which are a quantum leap above the rest.
The rest of the album isn't as much like the first album as this.
@Dan D Yeah, a pretty big disappointment overall. But my hopes weren't too high going in luckily. This song is great though.
gene hoglan?
RVP is not an atomic clock, but he gets the shit done
@al rod Devin Townsend day, eh? Thats the 3rd comment youre replying today :D btw I love RVP
Ever since the death of Strapping, tracks like this and Poltergeist just feel so awesome :D
Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
True! Exactly those songs you mentioned are like SYL leftover!
The song "Higher" of the new record is another addition to the list :)
And some demo on that new record's bonus disc sounded SYL-ish as well. Especially raw.
Let's add "Hear Me" and "There Be Monsters" out of Empath to that list!
What a fucking intro
Hey crystal! Lol album wasn't as good as Z1. Music was still top notch though...
Greatest song on the cd.
