Amazing and brutal album! Love the way all these guys love what they do in the studio and on stage. Members sometimes unfortunately move on but no doubt to me devil driver will continue to go against the grain! No prisoner's and no apologies!

Must be just me but I find their last good album was 'last kind words'. It just feels like they don't try anymore after that masterpiece. Maybe I'm just disgruntled after 'Beast'

Thought this album was pretty decent overall. I also thought that Dez's vocals were kind of boring or "held back"....he never had any crazy screams or pressing vocal parts that i can remember where he really stood out. He always has the signature Devildriver voice and IMO the meanest voice in metal (that you can kind of understand). But for his standards, i thought he was a little boring this album. I thought there were times where he could have really let a high scream rip off for 10 seconds and he just didnt do it. Maybe its the mix as some people have said or maybe its just that im so used to his voice. But it seemed like a bit of a down album for him.

Personally I have listened to most of the devil driver albums and came to the conclusion that everything they put out there seriously rules they have covered almost all dark topics known to man and if you say they haven't done that then listen to your favourite stuff they created then take a step back in time and listen to coal chamber Dez seriously has one of the most developing vocal chords in music period. Thank you Dez fafara for everything you have done musically and continue to do ps.music for me would be nothing without you in it

Fuck the band coal chamber is the best

Any of Devildriver's albums starting from "the Fury" to "Winter" is way better than this one. Riffs were much groovier and the drumming was more technical. Austin D'Amond is more showing-off than drumming, while John Boecklin was fast like Gatling gun and precise like Barrett sniper rifle without any clown's tricks. Kendrick's riffs were much more creative and intense.
So if current Devildriver is "Dez + hired guns" band it will not last long. This album is really boring to listen to.

Not actually a huge fan of this album. Very good but in my opinion The Fury Of Our Maker's Hand and Winter Kills have much catchier riffs and solos. Still good but not one of my favorites

I've listened a lot to this album since it came out and it doesn't grow beyond a solid 7/10 score for me. Some tracks are awesome and some feel kind of filler. Not their best album, but not quite their worst either.
